Community Engagement

This is no ordinary tour.  In selected tour locations a new partnership between a theatre, local military base, The Army, Army Welfare Services and the company make this a unique package.  This style of intensive tour model comprises of two months of community outreach work in each location, leading to a weekend of events, community performances, outdoor performances, professional shows and post show talks.  The intention is to engage with local venues to develop a relationship between the military bases and the local arts community, which takes on a different shape in each location, creating unique programmes that wraparound the professional shows.

5 SOLDIERS received a Special Commendation from the Royal Society of Public Health in recognition of its excellent contribution to Arts and health practice.

Education – schools & colleges
